Cookie cutter ornaments

Ornaments for your tree or great gift tags

Mix 2 mugs of plain white flour
1 heaping mug of salt
1 mug of tepid water
Mix together well & knead the dough, use flour on the table before rolling the dough, much like you would cookies, use your cookie cutters to make your cut outs, be sure to put a hole on the top to put a string on there to hang. You can also use food coloring to color your dough. When you've completed the cut outs (like cookies) place on a cookie sheet & bake in oven 375* till they are golden brown, or dry.
You can also let them dry for 48 hrs. too!
Then you are able to paint them when it's done!
I have also used polamer clay that I have brought from the store, this is colored clay, I did the same rolled them out, no flour is needed!
Used the cookie cutters to cut the shapes out & baked in oven instructions are on the clay package. Have fun the kids like to make their own decorations for the tree or to dress up a package as tags!
